Bronx Charter School for the Arts
Our partnership with the Bronx Charter School for the Arts (BCSA) offers a 12-week course introducing both local and newly arrived migrant youth to the joys of music. Through lessons in violin, music fundamentals, and collaborative play, students gain creative skills and build bonds with their peers.

Arts Ignite
Each summer, CFC collaborates with Arts Ignite and the International Rescue Committee to bring live music and programming to the Newcomer Youth Summer Academy. This six-week program helps newly arrived migrant youth adjust to their new community and school environment, offering enrichment, education, and a creative space to feel welcomed and empowered.
Savor the Sound Concert Series
This unique program spotlights refugee-owned small businesses in the tri-state area by pairing music with food in intimate, community-centered events. Our creative team at Concerts for Compassion curates each musical selection to complement the dishes served, celebrating a fusion of culinary and musical traditions from around the globe.

New Harmonies Series
As one of CFC’s founding programs, this concert series brings together refugees and displaced individuals from around the world. The interactive performances celebrate diverse musical traditions, fostering community and connection through shared cultural experiences.
